Hello website!

Thank you to everyone who has been following the progress of our exciting new project on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We are thrilled to announce that the Downs Outdoors website is now live and ready for you to explore more of our beautiful part of the world.

To get the ball rolling, we have published online guides for three of the best nature-based adventures in the Darling Downs and Granite Belt region of Queensland, Australia. That number will grow to more than 50 over the coming months, covering a wide range of top trails in Toowoomba, the Western Downs, the Southern Downs, and Goondiwindi.

All our guides will be available to subscribers, and we are celebrating the launch of the Downs Outdoors website by offering a free subscription until the end of 2026 to anyone who subscribes before the sunshine and wildflowers of spring arrive on 1 September 2026.

Whether you’re seeking a relaxing getaway, an exhilarating adventure, or a cultural exploration, the wild natural environment and great outdoors of the Darling Downs and Granite Belt provide a wealth of opportunities for you to reconnect with nature, clear your head, soothe your soul, rekindle your vitality, and make you ready to take on the world.

Our team of outdoor enthusiasts lives locally and has more than 20 years of experience in researching and creating nature-based tourism guides, and they will leave no stone unturned in curating experiences that meet the interests and needs of every explorer. Our guides are made by adventurers for people who love adventures. There is something for everyone in the Darling Downs and Granite Belt.

We welcome all subscriber questions, contributions, and constructive feedback as the Downs Outdoors website continues to grow into the most comprehensive and trusted online resource for nature-based tourism in our remarkable region.

We look forward to seeing you on the trail.

Every day is a great day to be outdoors.
